DC Men | Twelve Disciples of Jesus PM Study | East Campus

October 26th - November 16th, 2017

Join us for a study as we go through Losers Like Us: Redefining Discipleship After Epic Failure by Daniel Hochhalter.

For the broken and the sinner… For the misfit and the outcast… If you look in the mirror and all you see is a loser looking back, then take heart. You are in good company.

Losers Like Us: Redefining Discipleship After Epic Failure intertwines Dan’s own story of loss and brokenness with that of Jesus’ twelve disciples to show how our “loser” traits, like theirs, are the very qualifications required to receive God’s love and grace, and to manifest his kingdom on earth. Jesus doesn’t just accept losers. He uses them for his work.

DC Kids | Parent/Child Dedication

November 19th, 2017

Children are a precious gift from God! At Discovery we believe that we should follow the example set in the Bible to 'dedicate' our lives to raise our children according to His Word. Because of this, we offer a Parent Dedication at all our locations.

Parent Dedication is parental recognition of a solemn responsibility and trust in that responsibility to raise your child in the nurture and instruction of the Lord. The Dedication service provides parents the opportunity to make this commitment public before God, their friends & family, and the extended church family

February 8th - February 11th, 2018

The Larger Story Boot Camp

You are invited to attend a boot camp, based on John Eldredge’s book, Wild at Heart.

This is not just another men’s retreat. It’s a three-day, three-night quest into the recovery of a man’s masculine soul, the release of man’s heart-his passions, and the reclaiming of territory taken by the enemy. Through teaching sessions, films, guided periods of reflection and journaling, the boot camp experience is designed with one primary objective: to restore the hearts of men through a fresh encounter with Jesus.
