DC On Mission | Orlando Union Rescue Mission | Central Campus
May 6th - July 1st, 2017
Join us every first Saturday of the month to serve dinner at the Orlando Union Rescue Mission!
We serve dinner at the OURM on every 1st Saturday of every month, and our goal is to share Christ’s love with the people there and make the event a memorable one. We want to make it so good that people would come line up outside the doors when they hear that Discovery Church is here to serve!
We encourage you to sign up to serve with us as many times as you want! On alternate months, we provide a tour of the OURM facility - sign up for one if you haven't gone on one!
DC Kids | Parent Dedication
May 7th - May 20th, 2017
Children are a precious gift from God! At Discovery we believe that we should follow the example set in the Bible to 'dedicate' our lives to raise our children according to His Word. Because of this, we offer a Parent Dedication at all our locations.
Parent Dedication is parental recognition of a solemn responsibility and trust in that responsibility to raise your child in the nurture and instruction of the Lord. The Dedication service provides parents the opportunity to make this commitment public before God, their friends & family, and the extended church family.
The next Parent Dedication will be in October.

Perfect Love by Lisa Harper
We all want to be known and loved. Though we can experience deep relationships with others, there will always be a hole in our hearts for the perfect love of Christ. But, what does that really mean? How do we pursue intimacy with an invisible God? What if we do not feel worthy of His love? How can we respond when troubles kidnap our security in Christ?
Author and Bible teacher Lisa Harper walks women through the Song of Solomon to answer those questions and more. Though romance and marital love are typically associated with this book, Lisa takes a Christ-centered approach to illustrate how this ancient love story is relevant to your life and relationship with Jesus today. As she brings clarity to the text and as you watch real-life stories from other women, you will learn how to embrace God's perfect love and realize your own beauty and worth in God's eyes.
Fight 4 Freedom Volunteer Orientation

We do this through: prayer to abolish human trafficking, providing education and awareness in an effort to prevent future human trafficking, and by engaging in mentoring friendships with those who are most vulnerable to being trafficked as well as survivors of human trafficking. If you are interested in joining the movement, please sign up to attend our Volunteer Orientation.
